An authentic Southern Italian espresso. A super rich and earthy taste one gets with some Greek,Turkish and Lebanese coffee traditions, It’s aroma is somewhere between potatoes pulled fresh out of wet soil and opening an ancient book on a kilim rug. The initial taste is massive, complex and satisfying, yet dissipates readily for the next sip- which makes it totally moreish. We picked this up travelling in Sicily, nobody was telling us what was in this coffee and there is a story attached to how we departed Sicily with this converted blend, but it’s probably best we say no more here. In Australia, probably for the first time, very transporting, perfect for the astral traveller. See you in Palermo.
